==Early Masonic Career== Admitted to Corinthian Lodge on June 22, 1812, Keyes quickly rose through the ranks, serving as Senior Warden in 1814 and 1815, Junior Warden in 1820, and Master in 1821. His commitment to Masonry extended beyond the Lodge; he was an active member and for many years served as King of the Concord Royal Arch Chapter. He later held significant offices in the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, including Junior Grand Warden from 1824 to 1826 and Senior Grand Warden in 1827 and 1828. Keyes was instrumental in the construction of Masonic Hall, officiating at its dedication.
